I'm curious as to where the music in Dark Eternal comes from.
Perhaps someone could tell me? I already know the origin of quite a few, but an entire list would be helpful.

EDIT: On an unrelated note, the DE2 download doesn't seem to be working.

Re: Music
The music in Dark Eternal comes from a number of classic video games that inspired me as a child.. Aswell as some metal bands, like soilwork, arch enemy, etc.

The Black Mages are also featured in both titles as the primary "battle music" which although originally is from assorted final fantasy titles, they are actually remixed as metal tracks by the black mages in an original format.

DE2 will see some ORIGINAL music along with a host of content from anime/games that I feel fit the game's tone and themes well.

Hsia Nu is our in-house musician.

Re: Music
Yeah, I recognized quite a few from FF7, Chrono Cross, and Xenogears.

There are a few that I'd like to know the exact origin from, such as...
Boss 3
Ehrix Battle Theme (cutscene battle)
Final Dungeon
Final Dungeon Battle
The Fight With Maron
